ElggVoices is a service where users can create their own channels, either public or private, around a particular topic.

Why we built ElggVoices

"Late 2007 Ben Werdmuller and I were in London for a meeting and we were chatting about using SMS to communicate within the company. We saw the value in short messages and how we could benefit from a dedicated service in our company, Curverider. We decided there and then to build it.

In the short period of time we have been using this product, it has turned into the most effective communication platform we have ever used so we figured others would also find it useful hence ElggVoices." - Dave Tosh
